To conduct Pre and/or Post-harvest food safety research with an emphasis on elucidating
mechanisms associated with pathogens and their relationship to gut health in heavy
broilers and laying hens.
         To conduct research in the areas described above that will be published in quality journals. Assist in seeking extramural funding. Interact with staff and students. Duration: 1-3 years, pending continuation of funding
         Minimum qualifications: PhD in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Biochemistry,
Immunology, Microbiology, or related fields. Preferred qualifications: Experience with molecular techniques.
