Diamond V Endowed Undergraduate Poultry Science Scholarship
About the Scholarship Diamond V sponsors this $5,000 scholarship to be awarded to a rising Junior undergraduate student in the field of Poultry Science. This Endowed Scholarship will primarily be awarded based upon scholastic achievement and service, as well as an interest/knowledge of the role the poultry industry plays in feeding the world’s growing population. In addition, preference will be given to those who intend to pursue a graduate education in poultry science or related field.
This scholarship will be awarded each semester ($1,250 per semester) until graduation (4 semester maximum, subject to satisfactory academic progress). A committee of three Poultry Science Association members and one Diamond V representative will review qualified applications and select the scholarship recipient, to be formally announced during the Donor Reception at the PSA Annual Meeting each year.
The deadline for application for this scholarship is March 30, 2021 at 5:00 PM CST.
Requirements to Apply:
Minimum Overall GPA of 3.2
Student must be in his/her Junior Undergraduate Year
Student is to be studying poultry science.

Three Essay Requirements
Formatting for Each Essay:
1.5 line spacing
Size 12 font Calibri or Times New Roman
No more than 250 words per essay
Include any references numerically in text, citing full citations at the end of the essay (references do not count against the word limit; MLA or APA format)
