Travel Grants

The Poultry Science Association provides several travel grants to assist poultry science students with travel expenses to attend and present their research findings at the annual PSA Annual Meeting.

Jones Hamilton Co. Undergraduate Travel Grant

Jones-Hamilton Co. is providing an annual competition for eight (8) undergraduate student travel awards. Six (6) travel grants will be awarded to North American undergraduate students from the United States, Canada and/or Mexico. Each of these Jones-Hamilton Co. Undergraduate Student Travel Awards will be up to $1,000 per student for qualified expense reimbursement. Two (2) travel grants will be awarded to international undergraduate students or recent graduates who are not enrolled in graduate studies and who are living and doing undergraduate studies outside of the United States, Canada and Mexico. Each of these awards will be up to $2,000 per student for qualified expense reimbursement.

Biomin Latin American Graduate Student Travel Awards

BIOMIN America, Inc. is providing an annual competition for Latin American graduate students from Mexico, Central and/or South America. In years when sufficient funding is available, there are to be (2) or more Latin American travel awards, the final number to be established annually by the PSA Board of Directors. Each BIOMIN Latin American Graduate Student Travel Award will provide up to a maximum of $2,000 per award for reimbursement of qualified expenses. One (1) or more of the travel grants will be awarded to an international graduate student doing graduate studies in Mexico or Central America, while one (1) or more travel awards will be made available to graduate students doing graduate studies in South America. If a sufficient number of qualified international applicants are not identified, then the travel awards will be limited to two (2) or fewer awardees.

Poultry Science Graduate Travel Awards

The Poultry Science Association is providing an annual competition for graduate student travel awards. This competition is open to all graduate students, worldwide, who are enrolled in full-time studies of poultry science or a related field. In years when sufficient funding is available, there are to be seven (7) or more Graduate Student Travel Award recipients, the final number to be established annually by the PSA Board of Directors. Each award will provide up to a maximum of $1,000 per award for qualified expense reimbursement for students traveling from the United States, Canada or Mexico, and a maximum of $2,000 for students traveling from all other international locations. If a sufficient number of qualified international applicants are not identified, then the travel awards will be limited to seven (7) or fewer.
