Poultry Science Association Student Organization

Region 1 Director (Northeast, US) As a PSA Hatchery Regional Director I really hope to help to create a complete catalog/list of universities in the PSA regions that have animal/poultry science programs and PSA member faculty at those universities. I plan to submit a full list of such by the end of 2020 to the hatchery and am happy to help other regions get their institutions recorded because I feel that the PSA hatchery should work to create resources for undergraduates and graduate students.

Region 4 Director (Southwest, US) Macey Randig completed her Bachelor of Science in both Animal Science and Poultry Science from Texas A&M University in 2019. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral of Philosophy studying Poultry Science with an emphasis in intestinal health under advisor, Dr. Audrey McElroy. Her research is investigating the impact of Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium difficile with mineral interactions on Necrotic Enteritis pathogenesis.

Region 6 Director (Africa) I am a graduate student at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. I am a researcher in animal science and have strong interest in animal breeding and genetics particularly poultry. I have been an Agricultural Science Teacher for about 4 years and also an Animal Science lecturer for the Joint Admission Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) for University of Ilorin, Nigeria. I am an individual with the ability to integrate well and work efficiently in a team.
